Melanie Few-Harrison Channels God and her Mother to Keep Super Bowl Gospel Festival Going In creating the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, Melanie Few-Harrison, never thought about the longevity of the event, she just thought that this was the vision that God had given her and she wanted to see it to fruition. "I just said to God I will do it to you tell me to stop," she said. "There was no time, no certain length none of that. It was just Lord, if you want me to do it, let it be about you and give me the strength I need to get through. That was it; that was it." Her friends didn't think her idea would fly. However, Melanie doesn't take "no" for an answer. She would ask her mother, "Mommy is it no in five minutes or is it no right now?" And, it was her mother's strength and mantra "keep a going" whenever you face difficult times is what Ms. Few-Harrison lives by along with God's guidance. In thinking about her journey, Melanie channeled her deceased mother and things got really emotional.
