New trends in hair, eyes, lips, and face for Spring 2016

During Fashion week here in New York and abroad the runways are heating up with new looks for hair and makeup for Spring 2016.

Eyes for Spring 2016

Electric blue, turquoise, and aqua blue eyeliner was shown on the eyes of models at Marc Jacobs and Hugo Boss runway shows. The liner was placed on the top of the lids for this look.

All About the Face

Bits of lace, glitter and embellishments were applied to the faces of the models in the Givenchy show while bare faced, glowing skin is trending for Spring on models at Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler shows.

They all sported clean and natural skin free from heavy foundations. To achieve this look, if you want to use foundation, choose a lightweight tinted moisturizer. Tinted moisturizer still provides coverage but will still give you a dewy natural glow. And as for eyes sporting a bare-faced look, just apply a very thin layer of Vaseline to the top of your lids.

Speaking of eyes, pastel eyeshadows in pale pinks and sky blue were the color of choice for runway looks at the DVF show.

Lip Trends for Spring 2016

Cherry red and red apple colors were seen on the model's lips at Zac Posen and DKNY shows. Also, dark berry, burgundy vampy lip colors were popular at Givenchy. Flesh and nude tones and also soft pink lips are popular for the season. These lip colors were shown at the DVF shows.

Nail Trends for Spring 2016

Nails have a new take on the classic French. French style tips come in a variety of shapes, colors, and dimensions. Some nails were trimmed with color all the way around the nails.

Hair Style Trends for Spring 2016

Hairstyles are neat and easy. The classic ponytail is in season with it either braided or twisted. At J Mendel, high ponytails with a twist were also seen on models. Curly, natural and beach wave hair is also in style for Spring. These styles were shown at BCBG/Max Zaria, Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger. Also, pulled back hair with a messy bun or knot without bobby pins was another trend for hairstyles for spring. Theses looks were shown at Marchesa and Tory Burch.

Hair Ornament Trends for Spring 2016

Headbands, hair ornaments, barrettes and bedazzled hair jewelry were another major trend for Spring. This look is fun and fabulous and it can dress your hair up instantly.
