It's obvious. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should be called on the carpet primarily because of his declaration that he, nor anyone within the NFL, had seen the Ray Rice elevator video before TMZ SPORTS released the video to the public on September 8th.

Bandleader, musician, composer, and educator, Gerald Wilson, died on Monday, September 8 at age 96, and jazz great Joe Sample passed away on Friday, September 12 at the age of 75 years-old.

It is obvious that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodelll would be called on the carpet.

Many people just don't believe that the NFL could not get its hands on the now infamous Ray Rice elevator video. Many people also don't believe that Commissioner Goodell had not seen the video before TMZ released its copy.

Ray Rice Elevator Video Surfaces: What Did The NFL Miss?

The world took a collective gasp and had a WTH moment after TMZ Sports released a copy of a video showing Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancee and now wife, Janay Palmer Rice in the elevator at a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The response to the video from football fans and others has been swift and deep. The Baltimore Ravens immediately dropped Ray Rice and the NFL suspended Rice indefinitely.

Had NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell seen this video when he suspended Ray Rice for only two games? Had the Baltimore Ravens organization seen this video when it decided to keep Ray Rice on the team?
