Beauty news: 3am a New Fragrance from Sean “P. Diddy” Combs

Sexually-tinged 3am Ad Breaks Through Clutter in Crowded Fragrance Space

Music mogul and entrepreneur, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, and singer/model girlfriend, Cassie, are featured in an explicit ad for his new fragrance 3am.

Diddy commented to Style.com and said,

"The concept for the video represents one of the things that 3 a.m. is for me. It's a very one-on-one time. It's a time to have fun and push the envelope a little bit. It's definitely an hour where you would find yourself with a young lady. Anything can happen at 3 a.m., and in the video, you see a fantasy that's in my head of what happened that night."

HollywoodLife.com reported that Macy's rejected the ad.

Combs responded to comments about the ad: "I think if people hear about the video, they're going to hear that it's racy and provocative, but I also think they're going to hear people say that it's beautiful. That whole interaction has nothing to do with sex as much as it has to do with love. My concept is that love is the new sexy."

Jan Gaye Tells All in After The Dance: My Life With Marvin Gaye

An explosive new tell-all book to be released by Marvin Gaye's Ex-Wife

The late great Marvin Gaye's ex-wife, Jan Gaye, wrote an autobiography titled, After The Dance: My Life With Marvin Gaye. The book is scheduled to be released shortly by Amistad Books, which is an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers. The autobiography details sexual deviant behavior, drugs, and anxiety and the tumultuous love affair they shared starting when she was just seventeen years old. In many states, 17-year-old is considered a minor.

Jan Gaye also describes sexual interactions with Marvin Gaye's celebrity friends that include Frankie Beverly and Ryan O'Neal that Marvin orchestrated and condoned.

This tell-all is being released directly following the settlement of the hit song, Blurred Lines, by Robin Thicke and produced by Pharell Williams which was a basic remake of Gaye's Got to Give it Up, where Jan Gaye sang background vocals.

According to reports, Jan Gaye and her family received 7.3 million dollars in the copyright lawsuit. So why is there a need for a tell-all book?

Spring 2015 Runway Beauty Trends

New York Fashion Week: The looks are all about eyes, lips, and skin

Makeup trends for Spring 2015 saw a variety of looks on the runway. According to Harper's Bazaar, the makeup was fresh, vibrant, and sultry.

Inky black eyes dominated the runway in a variety of textures and applications. At Tommy Hilfiger, tight lining all the way around the eyes using liquid eyeliner was the look of the moment.

Fine wing tipped liner across the upper lids dominated the spring shows at Prada, Marchesa, and Saint Laurent.

Herve Leger models ruled the runway with thick liner as if was applied with a sharpie.

Faces this season are natural and bare created by using pink flesh tone colors for lips and cheeks for a barely there look. This means no mascara, foundation or anything. These looks were part of the shows at Calvin Klein, Tory Burch and Chanel.

Purple and lavender shadows replaced darker hues at Derk Lam and Vera Wang,

while smokey eyes rocked at Tom Ford and Diane Von Furstenberg to create the look of all night partying.

Brown shadows are popular also. Cool shades of taupe, warm sand and chocolate bronzes were the highlight at Gucci, Givenchy and Roberto Cavalli.

Another new and interesting trend we are seeing this season is pop art eye makeup with a new twist. Makeup artist used strips of leather, satin stickers and swipes of lipstick in place of eyeliner. Brands like Dior and Elie Saab incorporated this look into their spring looks.

Lashes are bold and over the top. Clumpy mascara, colored mascara and faux fluttery lashes were seen at Emilio Pucci, and Betsey Johnson.

At Dolce & Gabanna lips were a deep berry blend and Missoni and Burberry showed bright flirtatious orange reds.
